John Youngs began works in March 2010 on a 12-week refurbishment of the ground and first floors of the four-storey premises in Norwich which stands on the corner of two leading throughfares, Upper King Street and Prince of Wales Road.
John Youngs began works on a new extension of this busy Norfolk GP's surgery in June 2009. Works involved the construction of a new dispensary and waiting area at the Blofield surgery, enhancing the services offered to patients, while offices and a meeting room have ensured the growing practice runs smoothly.
This project involved John Youngs creating a new kitchen at a top city centre Italian restaurant, Trattoria Rustica. The location of this 16th Century grade II listed building in Princes Street in the centre of Norwich, meant that the team had to operate within the confines of a courtyard.
Job Centre Plus, Copperfield House, Great Yarmouth
The works comprised a two-storey addition to the existing Job Centre in Great Yarmouth. The finished extension blends with the existing building, and its construction of semi-engineering brick and blockwork complies with the Government regulations for buildings to be blast proof.
John Youngs undertook works on the Job Centre Plus (JCP), Townsend House, Thetford, to help staff cope with their increasing workload. This involved expanding into empty premises next door which involved two phases of work, as the building had to remain operational throughout.
