John Youngs undertook works on the Job Centre Plus (JCP), Townsend House, Thetford, to help staff cope with their increasing workload. This involved expanding into empty premises next door which involved two phases of work, as the building had to remain operational throughout.

Palace Street Offices, Norwich

John Youngs started work in May 2006 after completing enabling works on the former Bussey's garage site located on Palace Street, a site which nestles in the shadow of Norwich Cathedral. An eight-week archaeological dig uncovered new information about Norwich's medieval past and revealed hundreds of fragments, and traces of ancient cellars.
