Work was carried out on a new print facility for education client Cambridge Assessment and comprised the design and construction of a mezzanine floor within an existing warehouse in order to form a print facility within the premises. The warehouse remained operational throughout.
The scheme involved the formation of a pile-supported steel column structure with a 'ribdeck' concrete mezzanine floor covering approximately 30 x 40 metres. The project also included the formation of office partitions, installation of fire exits and specialist roller shutter doors. The electrical and mechanical installation included the use of specialist Swiss extract ventilation ductwork.
