The project comprised the conservation, alterations and restoration of a derelict fish-curing works to create one of the biggest maritime museums of its kind in the country.
The Tower Curing Works in Great Yarmouth aimed to be more than just a museum, although it still displays the town's maritime collection. Visitors are now able to walk around the shops and houses along a re-created Row, the name given to the narrow alleys that once cris-crossed the town.
The major focal point is the courtyard covered with a 70-foot fabric canopy representing a ship's sail.
